The
standard dimension for a plot of land (building site)
in Saquarema is 450 m2 (15 meters x 30 meters), approx.
4500 square feet. Because only a short time ago it
was forbidden to construct directly on the boundary
a lot of people abused that by constructing their
houses with the rear adjoining the neighbour´s house.
A double plot (900 m2, 9000 sq ft) or more could be
useful to avoid direct contact with neighbours.
